KUCHING, SARAWAK | 20 MAY 2025 — Keris Sakti proudly partnered with AEON Kuching to deliver a vibrant and culturally rich festive installation in celebration of Gawai Dayak 2025. This collaborative effort showcases our commitment to preserving Sarawak’s indigenous heritage through creative and thoughtful design.

Bringing “Tradition and Nature” to Life

From 17 to 20 May 2025, the Keris Sakti team conceptualised, fabricated, and completed the installation, meeting AEON’s schedule and visual expectations without compromise. Guided by the theme “Tradition and Nature”, our design sought to express the deep harmony between cultural identity and the natural world — two essential elements of the Gawai celebration.

Honouring Heritage Through Design

We designed the installation around authentic Iban and Dayak motifs, most notably the traditional warrior shield. These symbols represent strength, unity, and ancestral legacy. By incorporating bold patterns and intricate detailing, we created an impactful visual experience that resonated with shoppers and reflected the cultural richness of Sarawak.

Merging Tradition with Modern Techniques

Our team combined traditional aesthetics with modern fabrication methods to ensure both cultural accuracy and visual appeal. This blend allowed us to meet the expectations of AEON Kuching’s diverse audience while staying true to the spirit of Gawai Dayak.
